Besu was created by people who believe technology and business can be good for people, and good for the planet.

Besu is not-for-profit and privacy first. Our single goal is to build simple, free tools that help people balance work and life. No “gotchas”, no sneaky subscriptions, no demanding shareholders and no tricky money-making schemes.

We are focused on building the simplest, most helpful tools for whoever needs them. And we are always user-first.

We fund our work through a small number of ads or affiliate shopping links. After we’ve covered our minor operating costs, all profits are used to plant trees.

Which means — every time you use a Besu tool, you are also helping to plant trees. And who doesn’t like trees … ?! So it’s win-win!

In addition to being user-first, Besu is also founded on the principle of privacy-first.

We do not do any creepy data tracking. We do not collect any unnecessary information. And we will never sell your data to anyone, ever. Because that kinda stuff is yuk!

And that’s about it. No long, manipulative marketing spiels. No hidden fees. No spying or sneaky data tracking. Just good, helpful tools you can rely on.
